Program Goals

Children learn more in their preschool years than at any other time in life. All children are encouraged to develop to their full potential.

Kids Thrive at Trinity United Methodist Church provides a safe, developmentally appropriate, nurturing environment that presents a broad range of age appropriate educational experiences and promotes a love of learning; a safe environment for social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth, as well as a positive self-image. Our program is child-centered with opportunities for individual, small group and whole group instruction, as well as spontaneous play and teacher guided activities.

On your child’s journey at Kids Thrive, future community contributors are developed as they construct a strong foundation for future academic success and the desire for serving others.

We work to actively involve parents in the education of their children both at home and at school. Supporting children’s emerging sense of self in an environment that promotes the development of confidence and competence will foster skills for healthy social interactions.

Children are encouraged to be creative and share imaginative endeavors, but the most important area of experience is their awareness of God’s love and order; where attitudes, discipline and emotions develop in a Christ-centered atmosphere.
