From empty classrooms to a FIVE STAR Early Education facility within 3 years, KidsThrive Preschool TUMC has received acclamation from local educators as one of the best quality centers in the area. We offer classes from Infant through Pre-K. Our preschool is operated under the guidelines of a mission in reaching out to the community for those who need assistance in early childcare, for building disciples, following not only the teachings of Christ, but complying to all safety and academic standards set forth by the Ky Governor’s Office of Early Childhood Education. Our preschool has brought new faces to Trinity’ congregation, which has led several to become members and grow as disciples of Jesus through their experiences here.
Readiness and Eligibility
KidsThrive offers tuition-based preschool programs for infants 6 weeks of age through 5 years of age. To qualify for the 3-year-old preschool, all 3-year-olds must be potty trained. We will partner with parents of 2-year-olds in the potty-training process.
On the first of February we open early enrollment to our current families and church members. Then on March 1st we open enrollment to the public. A registration fee of $75.00 will guarantee you a spot for the fall season. Philosophy and Goals
At KidsThrive, we work to transform lives; academically, socially, and spiritually…making disciples of Jesus Christ.
Program Goals
Children learn more in their preschool years than at any other time in life. Realizing that all children’s gifts are not the same, and learning happens differently in each child, we are constantly evaluating each child as an individual and approach their needs in a way that will help them reach their full potential during these developmental years.
KidsThrive provides a safe, developmentally appropriate, nurturing environment that presents a broad range of age-appropriate educational experiences and promotes a love of learning, a safe environment for social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth, as well as a positive self-image.
Our program is child-centered with opportunities for individual, small group and whole group instruction, as well as spontaneous play and teacher guided activities. On your child’s journey at KidsThrive, future community contributors are developed as they construct a strong foundation for future academic success and the desire for serving others.
We work to actively involve parents in the education of their children both at home and at school. Supporting children’s emerging sense of self in an environment that promotes the development of confidence and competence will foster skills for healthy social interactions.
Children are encouraged to be creative and share imaginative endeavors, but the most important area of experience is their awareness of God’s love and order; where attitudes, discipline, and emotions develop in a Christ-centered atmosphere.
Meet the Staff
Mrs. Savanah
Mrs. Savanah is KidsThrive Preschool’s director. She has been with KidsThrive for six years. She started out as a teacher’s assistant in the toddler room and moved to our assistant director after Covid. During Covid she completed her CDA and Directors Credential. Then in 2022 Mrs. Savanah became KidsThrive’s Director. Mrs. Savanah also completed her Bachelor’s Degree of Social Work in 2023. Children are her passion and being able to be a part of their early childhood education and working with their families to make it the best experience possible is what gives her the drive to do what she does. Not only watching them grow academically but spiritually brings her so much joy, and she knows she is setting the tone for their future academically and spiritually.

Mrs. Rhonda had a vision, a dream, and a passion to grow children’s minds and souls. In 2015 Mrs. Rhonda started KidsThrive Preschool TUMC with 13 kiddos ages 3-5. Then in 2016 KidsThrive became a licensed facility and has continued to grow and touch many lives of children in our area. Mrs. Rhonda has continued to serve in the preschool by doing Wednesday Chapel with the students. Chapel is one of KidsThrive’s passions. This is an energetic and exciting time for our students to learn songs, hear stories, watch skits and learn Bible verses. Mixed into the fun is learning good worship manners and how to care for God’s house.
